'Dancing' star of ABC.com's Net expansion


ABC.com has expanded its content offerings, including the addition of more than 100 shortform videos each week.

The infusion of video will provide a deeper experience for a wide range of ABC series, as well as blogs and podcasts.

"We're adding a significant amount of unique content, especially video, to ABC.com to make it the primary destination for fans of our programming," ABC Entertainment digital media vp Alexis Rapo said.

ABC hit "Dancing With the Stars" already is emerging as a big draw on ABC.com, attracting 60% of all video viewings on the site. "Dancing's" video offerings include backstage interviews, rehearsal footage and "spotlights" of dancers and celebrities.

Talent, writers and producers will contribute their perspectives in blogs or podcasts for series including "Grey's Anatomy," "Lost," "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and "The Bachelor."
