"It's a terrible betrayal," Cook has said of his sib, Darryl McCauley, who was sentenced in October to five to six years in prison for embezzling.

Dane Cook's half-brother Darryl McCauley has been ordered to pay the comic $12 million in restitution after pleading guilty to embezzling funds from him.

McCauley stole money from Cook while being paid $12,500 a month as his business manager. In October, he was sentenced to five to six years in prison on larceny and forgery charges.

His wife, Erika, was also sentenced to 2.5-3 years in prison on two counts of larceny.

Cook called his brother's embezzling "a terrible betrayal… "Woke up one day and a lot of stuff was missing. There is a good chunk of money that is certainly not accounted for. That's all I can say about it at this point."
