The Australian sci-fi, directed by Luke Sparke, will also star Temuera Morrison and Dan Ewing of the first 'Occupation' film.
Daniel Gillies (The Originals and Vampire Diaries) has been added to the cast of the Australian sci-fi sequel Occupation: Rainfall, which also includes Ken Jeong, fresh from this year's smash hit Crazy Rich Asians.
Jeong and Gillies join the stars from the first film, Occupation, including Temuera Morrison (Aquaman) and Dan Ewing.
Occupation: Rainfall — directed by Luke Sparke, who helmed the first installment and shot in locations across Australia — picks up two years into an intergalactic invasion of Earth, with a group of survivors in Sydney fighting back in a desperate ground war.
Clay Epstein’s Film Mode Entertainment is handling sales on the project at AFM. Saban distributed the first Occupation in North America.
