He'll join Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne in the sequel.

Dave Franco will reprise his Neighbors role in Neighbors 2, along with Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne.

Franco played a fraternity brother to Efron's character in the original comedy, which earned more than $269 million worldwide.

Chloe Grace Moretz has joined the cast, along with Kiersey Clemons and Beanie Feldstein, as The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported. The plot is being kept under wraps, but sources tell THR it involves a sorority that the new castmembers will be members of.

Nicholas Stoller is returning to direct the sequel based on a script by Andrew Jay Cohen, Brendan O’Brien, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

Rogen, Goldberg and James Weaver are producing Neighbors 2 through their Point Grey Pictures, along with Good Universe. Cohen and O’Brien will serve as executive producers alongside Good Universe’s Nathan Kahane and Joseph Drake.

Erik Baiers and Chloe Yellin will oversee the project for Universal, while Erin Westerman is overseeing on behalf of Good Universe, and Josh Fagen will oversee for Point Grey. Both Westerman and Fagen will co-produce.

Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising is set to hit theaters on May 20, 2016.

Franco recently wrapped work on Nerve, directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, and next will be seen in sequel Now You See Me: The Second Act. He's repped by CAA and Felker Toczek.
