David Spade, Nat Faxon Starring in Adam Sandler-Produced Netflix Movie

Tyler Spindel is directing the comedy from Sandler's production shingle, Happy Madison.

David Spade and Nat Faxon are starring in Who Do You Think Would Win?, an Adam Sandler-produced comedy being made by Netflix.

Also staring are Joey Bragg of Disney Channel’s Liv & Maddie and Matt Shively, one of the stars of The Real O’NealsBridgit Mendler (Undateable) and Jackie Sandler, Adam Sandler's wife, are also on the call sheet.

The story is set in motion after a playful debate between two buddies about whose father would win in a fight is taken seriously by one of the dads and buffoonery ensues. Jobs are lost, relationships ruined, futures destroyed and middle-aged men are knocked out.

Tyler Spindel is directing the project, which will film in Boston.

Spindel gained attention with his short, Love and Germaphobia, which netted him gigs directing shows such as Nick Swardson's Pretend Time and segments of Chelsea Lately. He has worked as a second-unit director on six Sandler movies, beginning with 2011’s Jack and Jill. Spindel's second-unit credits also include Blended and the recent Netflix movie Sandy Wexler

Allen Covert is producing for Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions. Barry Bernardi and Kevin Grady are exec producing.

Faxon is an actor and veteran voice actor who may be best known for co-writing the Oscar-winning George Clooney-Shailene Woodley dramedy The Descendants.

Spade is a regular on the Sandler movie circuit (he last appeared in The Ridiculous Six and had a cameo in Sandy Wexler) and recently appeared in Showtime’s Roadies and HBO’s Love.
