The Hollywood Reporter is among the sponsors of the annual U.K. event.

Britain's Got Talent judge and Little Britain star David Walliams has been named the host of the Empire Awards, one of the U.K's liveliest film events largely thanks to its sponsorship arrangement with Jameson whiskey.

The comic actor – also a successful children's author currently working on a script for DreamWorks Animation with Edgar Wright – will take the stage in London's Grosvenor House hotel on March 20, with nominations due to be announced on Thursday.

For the second year running, The Hollywood Reporter is sponsoring the best British film award, which went to Kingsman: The Secret Service in 2015.

Voted on by the public, the upcoming event is expected to see heavy representation from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Spectre.
