The awards were handed out Friday night in Pasadena.

Trollhunters, Days of Our Lives and Sesame Street topped the Creative Arts Awards portion of the Daytime Emmys, which were handed out Friday night at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Amazon and Netflix were the big winners of the night, taking home 13 and 11 wins, respectively, with CBS and PBS following with nine each. The animated Netflix series Trollhunters had the most wins for an individual program, including a performance award for Kelsey Grammer. Days of Our Lives topped the drama-series categories with five award wins total. The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless each took home three Emmys.

This year's nominees included The Hollywood Reporter, which landed its first-ever nom, for its Close Up With 'The Hollywood Reporter' series with Sundance TV, in the outstanding special-class series category. The executive producers are Matthew Belloni, Stephen Galloway, Paul Haddad, Jennifer Laski, Janice Min and Lacey Rose, with Stephanie Fischette serving as producer. THR previously won an Emmy for its roundtable discussion 'The Hollywood Reporter' in Focus: 'The Wolf of Wall Street', which aired on PBS SoCal.

Also at Friday night's ceremony, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presented Harry Friedman, executive producer of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, with a lifetime achievement award.

Mary Hart, former host of Entertainment Tonight, will be presented with the honor at Sunday's Daytime Emmys, also set to take place at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and be streamed online.
