Daytime Emmys: Matt Lauer "Strips" Down, Says He'll Donate $1,000 to Charity for Each Winner Who Thanks Him

The duo also promised an end to their "prank war."

Matt Lauer and Ellen DeGeneres kicked off Sunday night's Daytime Emmy Awards with a joke and a pledge to do something good for charity.

Appearing in a pre-taped bit, the duo appeared to announce they are officially ending their "prank war."

Lauer then "stripped" down — his head was imposed over another the body of a fit man wearing nipple tassels and sexy garters and stockings — and announced that he'd donate $1,000 to charity anytime a winner thanked him in their speech that night.

Watch the clip below.

And the winners took note: Early in the show, accepting best entertainment news program, Entertainment Tonight co-host Nancy O'Dell thanked him three times.
