'Deadpool 2,' 'Westworld' Marketing Campaigns Win at Clio Entertainment Awards

The marketing efforts behind Deadpool 2, Hereditary, Westworld and others took home wins at the Clio Entertainment Awards on Thursday.

The Clio Entertainment Awards honors contributions in creative communications for the entertainment business — the "Grand" awards cover categories in television/streaming, theatrical, home entertainment and games. 

In the realm of home entertainment, Deadpool 2 won in the audio/visual, out-of-home and packaging categories. The foul-mouthed superhero flick also won best innovation and best partnerships and collaborations in the theatrical categories. Horror film Hereditary won best audio/visual mixed campaign in the theatrical categories.

For television/streaming, HBO's Westworld won best events/experiential while Comedy Central's The Daily Show won best innovation. FX garnered awards for Pose, which won best print, and Atlanta, which won best special shoot spot/promo.

Clio Entertainment also presents "Of the Year" awards to agency of the year, studio of the year, game publisher of the year and television/streaming network of the year. The honors go to contenders that score the most statue points. Those winners are:

Agency of the Year: MOCEAN

Studio of the Year: 20th Century Fox

Game Publisher of the Year: Microsoft Studios/Xbox

Television/Streaming Network of the Year: FX

The Hollywood Reporter is a partner of the Clio Entertainment Awards, which took place at the Dolby Theatre and was hosted by The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor and current America's Funniest Home Videos host Alfonso Ribeiro.
