Entourage alum Debi Mazar is turning a fashion statement into a political statement. The actress has posed for a photo series in support of immigration reform as part of the Fedoras for Fairness photo series commissioned by the campaign We Belong Together.

We Belong Together advocates for what it calls "common-sense immigration reform" focusing on women and families. The photo series, shot by Albert Watson, also features Julianne Moore,Sex and the City's Cynthia Nixon, and The New Normal's Ellen Barkin.

“We are gratified that so many talented women and men from stage and screen have chosen to stand up and speak out at this critical moment in the debate over immigration reform,” said Vivien Labaton, co-chair of We Belong Together. “Like so many Americans, they believe that now is the time to pass legislation that creates a pathway to citizenship for 11 million immigrants and treats women and families fairly.”

The campaign chose the fedora as it was originally worn by women’s rights activists in the early 20th century and evolved to become a unisex accessory. The fedora, says the campaign's organizers, is "a metaphor for women’s multiple roles and identities; a symbol of support for reform legislation that is inclusive of the needs of women."

The photo series comes as Congress is poised to vote on immigration reform legislation this year.

Mazar next appears opposite Amanda Seyfried in Lovelace, the biopic about Deep Throat actress Linda Lovelace.
