James Tupper Joins 'Decoding Annie Parker'
The Steve Bernstein-directed drama stars Samantha Morton, Helen Hunt, Rashida Jones and Alice Eve.
James Tupper, best known for his TV roles in Men in Trees and Grey’s Anatomy, has joined the ensemble cast of the biopic drama Decoding Annie Parker.
Being directed by Steve Bernstein, the drama sees Samantha Morton portraying Annie Parker, the breast-cancer patient who believed that her disease was genetically linked, a belief that led scientists to learn about the existence of the breast cancer gene.
Among the cast are Helen Hunt, Rashida Jones, Maggie Grace, Aaron Paul and Benjamin McKenzie.
Tupper is playing the husband of Parker’s best friend, played by Alice Eve.
Producing Annie Parker are Clark Peterson, Tatiana Kelly and Jim Young.
Tupper recently wrapped a role in Playing the Field, the Gerard Butler-starring romantic comedy directed by Gabriele Muccino. He is repped by ICM, Untitled and Jackoway Tyerman.
