"This not confirmed! It is rumored! I'm going to be in the musical Fela!" the singer exclaims.

Question is the Destiny's Child Super Bowl reunion not happening or is Michelle Williams playing coy?

When asked about reports the chart-topping former girl group will perform together at Sunday's halftime show, Williams demurred, telling WRUG Media, "This not confirmed! It is rumored! I'm going to be in the musical Fela! I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it's not true!"

She added: "We did record a song with each other before the holidays. ... We have talked about (reuniting onstage), and you know, maybe one day soon."

As previously reported, Williams along with ex-bandmates Beyonce and Kelly Rowland were said to be reuniting in New Orleans for a performance at the NFL's biggest game. On the alleged set list: their new single "Nuclear" off the upcoming compilation album Love Songs, which drops Tuesday.

Interesting: although Williams is fronting the Fela! world tour, she is not scheduled to appear in the musical from Thursday through Sunday, according to the show's website.

Meanwhile, Beyonce has finally addressed the Inauguration lip-syncing controversy via this new Instagram photo of the superstar sporting a sweatshirt with the phrase: "Can I live?"

Her rep has not responded to THR's requests for comment on the sing-scandal as well as the Destiny's Child rumors.
