"Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns" will be published next April.

A followup to Lauren Weisberger's novel The Devil Wears Prada has been set.

Simon & Schuster will publish Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns in the U.S. in April 2013, it was announced Thursday.

Revenge Wears Prada follows Andy eight years after leaving fashion glossy Runway. Now an editor of The Plunge, a hot bridal magazine, and working alongside old Runway co-worker Emily, Andy is readying for the next step (aka marriage) with new love Max. Andy's new life, however, will lead her into the path of Miranda.

The 2003 book was adapted for the big screen in 2006 with Anne Hathaway playing Andy, Emily Blunt as Emily and Meryl Streep as Miranda, with Streep earning an Oscar nomination.

Weisberger worked as a former assistant at Vogue. It has been speculated that the Miranda character is a fictionalized version of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

HarperFiction will publish the sequel in the U.K.
