CANNES -- Daniel Diamond, who has been serving as president of Crystal Sky Worldwide Sales, is moving to Morgan Creek, where he will head up the international sales division.

Diamond is expected to make the move within the next few weeks, although it's likely he'll make an appearance at Morgan Creek's annual Cannes brunch, which is set to take place Sunday at Moulin de Mougins.

An exec in the motion picture business since 1986, before his tenure at Crystal Sky, Diamond was involved in worldwide distribution, marketing and acquisitions at such companies as CanWest Global's Fireworks Pictures, Franchise Pictures and Capella International.

He has overseen the international distribution of such studio titles as "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery," "Rat Race," "Rules of Engagement" and "Hard Ball."

He also has executive produced several films including the Sundance award winner "The Believer."
