Ben Groh and Dion Costelloe are toplining God's Time, a crime comedy set in Coronavirus-stricken New York, directed by Daniel Antebi for Topic Studios.

The indie from The Climb producers has wrapped pandemic-era production in New York City and also stars newcomer Liz Caribel. God's Time, Antebi's directorial debut, follows Dev, played by Groh, and Luca’s (Costelloe) race through New York to stop Regina, played by Caribel, a fellow addict in recovery who is likely on a righteous mission to murder her ex-boyfriend.

"We are so thrilled to have safely wrapped this hilarious and uniquely New York film,” Topic Studios executive vp Maria Zuckerman said in a statement. The project marks the second collaboration between Topic Studios and Watch This Ready, both of whom recently signed a first look deal.

Topic and Watch This Ready earlier teamed up for Michael Angelo Covino’s directorial debut, The Climb, which Sony Pictures Classics released after a Cannes debut. God's Time producers are Emily Korteweg, Andrew Hutcheson and Reid Hannaford.

Topic Studios financed the film with Raven Capital Management, the New York private equity firm that owns and relaunched Open Road Films.

Executive producers are Michael Bloom, Maria Zuckerman, Ryan Heller, James Masciello, Matt Sidari, Michael Angelo Covino, Kyle Marvin, Eddy Vallante and Josh Peters.
