Discovery Studios Inks Overall Deal With 'Top Model' Producer

Daniel Soiseth, who also produces “Hell’s Kitchen,” signed a long-term deal with the company, it was announced Friday.

Discovery Studios has inked a long-term overall deal with America’s Next Top Model and Hell’s Kitchen producer Daniel Soiseth, the company announced Friday.

“Daniel is a celebrated producer whose talent will strengthen Discovery’s ability to develop premium content across Discovery’s portfolio of networks,” Discovery Studios interim president Lee Bartlett said.

Soiseth added, "My first foray into the business was producing shows for the Discovery networks and I'm excited to be bringing my experience and original ideas to Discovery Studios. I look forward to producing new and meaningful content that pushes the boundaries of traditional television programming."

The most recent episode of Top Model, in its 16th cycle, drew 2.2 million viewers on the CW. Hell’s Kitchen, which recently wrapped its eighth cycle, averaged 7.1 million viewers. Season 9 launches in the summer.

In addition to the two series, Soiseth’s credits include American Inventor, Big Brother and Amish in the City
