WGN America will be restored to Dish customers within the day.

Dish Network and Tribune Broadcasting have reached a long-term pact on carriage and retransmission consent, it was announced Saturday.

Tribune Media's 42 owned or operated TV stations and the WGN America cable network went dark in June in Dish Network's homes amid a carriage dispute.

The new agreement restores WGN America to Dish subscribers as early as today in 33 markets who had also lost access to their local Tribune stations.

"We want to thank our viewers and customers for their patience and support as we worked through this lengthy process," the companies said in a joint statement. "We’re pleased to move forward and again be able to provide the content of Tribune’s local stations and WGN America for years to come."
