Disney Institute heads to India


NEW DELHI -- The Walt Disney Co.'s training offshoot, the Disney Institute, will hold two-day workshops in five Indian cities, where participants will learn about "The Disney Keys to Excellence," with examples such as the company's theme parks and resorts business.

DI's first India initiative is promoted by technology services company Saviance Technologies, which is based in Gurgaon, near Delhi.

Since 1986, the Disney Institute has trained more than a million people from 35 countries and 40 industries including such clients as IBM, General Electric and AT&T.
