Nominations were handed out in 11 categories, including the areas of interactive television, on-demand television and the Internet as well as personal media display and presentation technology.

Meanwhile, winners in six categories were announced Monday, among them were Time Warner's CNN and Time Warner Cable. The 59th annual Technology & Engineering Emmys will be handed out Jan. 7 during CES in Las Vegas.
