Disney/ABC Unlimited taps Longest
EmptyNEW YORK -- Dan Longest on Tuesday was named senior vp at Disney/ABC Unlimited, the cross-platform sales group for Disney. He replaces Bill Bund, who is returning to Chicago to become senior vp and managing director for the central sales division of ABC.
Longest previously served as senior vp integrated marketing and promotion at ABC, a position he assumed in September 2000. He will report to ABC sales and marketing president Mike Shaw.
"Dan has done a tremendous job for ABC sales and has made ABC a first stop for clients looking for creative marketing partnerships," Shaw said. "His excellent relationship with our clients and many talents make him an excellent choice to head up Disney/ABC Unlimited."
In September 2000, Bund launched Disney/ABC Unlimited, which creates partnerships with advertising clients by developing customized promotions across ABC, ESPN and Disney media properties.
"Bill did an incredible job establishing Disney/ABC Unlimited and bringing in incremental sales dollars to ABC and the Walt Disney Co.," Shaw said.
