Disney's 'Good Luck' has big debut

New original series draws 4.7 million viewers Sunday

Disney Channel's new original series "Good Luck Charlie" got off to a good start Sunday night.

The half-hour show pulled in 4.7 million total viewers, 2 million kids 6-11 and 2 million tweens 9-14, making it the network's most-watched Sunday series premiere ever. It also was the most-watched scripted show in total viewers in its 8:30 p.m. slot across all TV networks.

"Good Luck" also became Disney's most-watched series debut since "The Suite Life on Deck" premiered in September 2008.
