DJ Megatron, BET Host, Murdered Outside NYC Home

Corey McGriff, better known as DJ Megatron, was shot and killed outside his home in Staten Island early Sunday morning. He was 32.

McGriff was heading to a nearby store around 2:00 a.m. when the suspect shot him, his manager told the Associated Press. He was pronounced dead on the scene. No arrests have been made.

McGriff was a popular DJ at urban radio station Hot 97 in New York. He also appeared on the BET music countdown show "106 & Park" and hosted a spot called "What's Good."
