Donald Trump Goes on Twitter Rant Against Alicia Machado: "Check Out Sex Tape"
7:31 AM PDT 9/30/2016 by THR staff

Hillary Clinton responded by saying Trump was "unhinged" and asking "What kind of man stays up all night to smear a woman with lies and conspiracy theories?"
Shortly after 3 a.m. ET on Friday morning, Donald Trump started tweeting about former Miss Universe Alicia Machado and his presidential rival Hillary Clinton, insulting both women in a series of tweets.
"Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a U.S. citizen so she could use her in the debate?" he asked. He did not offer proof of how Clinton theoretically could have helped Machado become a U.S. citizen.

Hillary Clinton responded with her own series of tweets, saying his rant was "unhinged" and asking "What kind of man stays up all night to smear a woman with lies and conspiracy theories?"
This is...unhinged, even for Trump. A few notes. https://t.co/WURWs6aJ5f

When something gets under Donald's thin skin, he lashes out and can't let go. This is dangerous for a president.

Machado went on Instagram to respond to Trump, writing a message in Spanish that says he is trying to slander her with lies in an attempt to humiliate and intimidate her. Machado said the lies Trump is spreading are based on false reports distributed by yellow journalism. She said the reason she became a citizen is because her daughter is born in this country and because Machado wanted to have the rights of a U.S. citizen, one of them being the right to vote.
Trump, in his early morning tweets, said Clinton was "duped" and had "bad judgement" for bringing Machado up in the first presidential debate. Clinton talked about Machado in the debate as a way of pointing out Trump's poor treatment of women. Trump allegedly called Machado "Miss Piggy" and "Miss Housekeeping" after she gained weight following her 1996 Miss Universe win.
Using Alicia M in the debate as a paragon of virtue just shows that Crooked Hillary suffers from BAD JUDGEMENT! Hillary was set up by a con.

The morning after the debate Trump doubled down on his comments about Machado, saying she "gained a massive amount of weight" after winning Miss Universe and it was "a real problem."
It's unclear what "sex tape" Trump was trying to refer to in his early-morning rant. It could be the false reports lacking evidence that Machado starred in porn movies. Or a 2005 Spanish reality show Machado starred in where she was filmed in bed with a male contestant. Trump may also be alluding to allegations of crime in Machado's past. (She was not charged.)
Wow, Crooked Hillary was duped and used by my worst Miss U. Hillary floated her as an "angel" without checking her past, which is terrible!

Trump also raged against the media for using anonymous sources.
Remember, don't believe "sources said" by the VERY dishonest media. If they don't name the sources, the sources don't exist.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 30, 2016
Anytime you see a story about me or my campaign saying "sources said," DO NOT believe it. There are no sources, they are just made up lies!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 30, 2016
The Republican presidential nominee has used anonymous sources himself in the past.
An 'extremely credible source' has called my office and told me that @BarackObama's birth certificate is a fraud.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 6, 2012
It was just announced-by sources-that no charges will be brought against Crooked Hillary Clinton. Like I said, the system is totally rigged!

Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta tweeted about Trump's rant, saying that reaching for the phone in the middle of the night is not suggested.
I'm almost @realDonaldTrump's age, so get the urge to get up in the middle of the night, but impt safety tip: don't reach for your phone.

Trump obsessively bullies Rosie O'Donnell—an accomplished actor. He insulted Kim Kardashian for her weight—when she was pregnant. Pathetic.

Trump on equal pay: "Do as good a job" as men.
Abortion? Should be "punished."
Pregnancy? An "inconvenience."
Wives working? "Dangerous."

While Donald continues day 5 of his Machado meltdown, we'll be in Florida talking about national service. You'll want to watch.

Nearly 12 hours after his Twitter spree began, Trump posted a message to the social media platform, invoking Clinton's 2008 ad in which she portrayed herself as the best candidate to pick up an urgent call to the White House in the middle of the night.
For those few people knocking me for tweeting at three o'clock in the morning, at least you know I will be there, awake, to answer the call!
