"If Apple doesn't give info to authorities on the terrorists I'll only be using Samsung," the Republican frontrunner said.
Donald Trump is calling on his followers to boycott Apple over its refusal to unlock the phone that was used by a shooter in the San Bernardino terror attacks.
During his rally in South Carolina on Friday, Trump told his crowd of supporters that they should boycott the company, which is currently battling the FBI over unlocking the phone of San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook.
"First of all, Apple ought to give the security for that phone," he said. "What I think you ought to do is boycott Apple until such time as they give that security number."
Adding, "I just thought of it — boycott Apple."
After his rally, Trump stated that he will use Samsung products only until Apple gives into authorities.
I use both iPhone & Samsung. If Apple doesn't give info to authorities on the terrorists I'll only be using Samsung until they give info.
