"Celebrating 1,237!"

Donald Trump is lovin' it.

On Thursday, the presidential candidate acquired the necessary 1,237 delegates in order to secure the GOP nomination, and then he celebrated with some McDonald's.

The billionaire businessman turned would-be politician shared a picture of himself aboard his plane with his celebratory meal: a burger, some fries and a Diet Coke.

"Celebrating 1237! #Trump2016," Trump captioned the picture.

Of course, there were some social media users who reminded Trump he once made a dig at people who drink Diet Coke.

"I have never seen a thin person drinking Diet Coke," Trump tweeted in October 2012.

Trump will accept the nomination at the Republican National Convention taking place in Cleveland in July. He is expected to announce his vice presidential candidate at the event.
