Donald Trump's Children Fail to Register in Time for NY Primary: "They Feel Very, Very Guilty"
The GOP frontrunner joked the pair's allowance has been cut off due to the error.
Donald Trump's children, Ivanka and Eric, failed to register in time to participate in the New York Republican primary taking place April 19, the GOP presidential candidate disclosed Monday morning on Fox & Friends.
"They were unaware of the rules, and they didn't register in time," Trump said during a phone interview. "So they feel very, very guilty."
He added, "But it's fine."
The deadline to register to vote in New York's GOP primary was March 25.
"Eric and Ivanka, I guess, won't be voting," Trump said.
The GOP frontrunner jokingly said he would cut off the pair's allowance for the error.
