The billionaire businessman insists the phrase means "badly beaten."

Donald Trump is not sorry for saying Monday night that Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was "schlonged" by Barack Obama for the party's nomination in 2008.

The GOP presidential hopeful was blasted for using the term while speaking at a rally in Grand Rapids, Mich. Critics are saying the term is a vulgar phrase for male anatomy.

The billionaire businessman disagrees.

Tuesday evening, Trump posted messages to social media defending the word, saying that it means to be "beaten badly," nothing more. And that is what he implied when he said it at the rally.

Trump has been hammering away at Clinton for the past few days after the former Secretary of State said Trump's proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States in wake of terrorists attacks was a "discriminatory message."

Clinton made her remarks during the Democratic presidential primary debate Saturday night.

What really drew Trump's ire was Clinton saying ISIS is using videos of Trump and his recent comments in an effort to recruit radical jihadists.

Trump has since demanded an apology for that assertion from Clinton.
