"Shout it out because I don't want to say it."

Donald Trump perked some ears Monday when he said "pussy," echoing a supporter at his New Hampshire rally who called fellow presidential candidate Ted Cruz the derogatory term.

The billionaire businessman did not call the Texas senator the term directly, but did say the word after asking the supporter to repeat the word.

"She just said a terrible thing. Shout it out because I don't want to say it," Trump said to the supporter. "You're not allowed to say — and I never expect to hear that from you again...she said, "He's a pussy."

The exchange was prompted by Trump talking about Cruz's stance on the U.S. government using torture to gain information about terrorist activities. That subject was one of many discussed by the GOP candidates during Saturday's primary debate.

Cruz said then he would not bring waterboarding back in any "widespread use." Trump said he would bring waterboarding back and "a hell of a lot worse than waterboarding.”
