Donald Trump's Big Economic Speech Gets Interrupted More Than 10 Times
The first interruption came about a minute into the event.
Donald Trump was interrupted by protesters more than 10 times on Monday while he was giving an economic speech in Detroit.
The first interruption at the Detroit Economic Club came about a minute into his speech where the GOP presidential nominee discussed his proposed tax plan.
For the most part, Trump ignored the protesters, stopping his speech, but not saying anything further on the disruption. Trump, who often has at least one protester at a rally, usually says "get them out!" when he is stopped from speaking.
Supporters at the Detroit Economic Club each time tried to drown-out the protesters' cries with applause and cheers for Trump. Each time, Trump thanked supporters for their efforts.
