The Republican candidate told viewers to check out his website after Hillary Clinton made a plug for her site's Trump fact checker.

Donald Trump's website suffered outages during the first first presidential debate Monday night.

The Republican candidate directed viewers to check out his website after opponent Hillary Clinton plugged her website, which is currently promoting a feature that is fact-checking Trump throughout the debate.

For a few minutes after Trump told the audience to check out his site, too, people who tried to access were met with an error message. The site continued to suffer from intermittent outages for the next several minutes before coming back online.

Clinton's website appeared to be up and running throughout the debate.
