Literary manager Doug Johnson, who has been with management/production company Management 360 since 2002, has joined United Talent Agency as an agent in the motion picture literary department.

Johnson, a producer on "My Best Friend's Girl," built a client roster that included David Arquette, writer Jim Hecht ("Ice Age: The Meltdown"), writer/producer Josh Safran ("Gossip Girl") and actress/writer Lorene Scafaria ("Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist"), among others. Prior to Management 360, he worked at Tollin/Robbins Prods.

"Doug has been a great collaborator for many years, and we know firsthand what a skilled and accomplished representative he is for his clients," said David Kramer, UTA board member and motion picture literary department head. "We know he'll make a swift transition into being an agent, and we're excited that he is joining the UTA team."

Johnson was Management 360's first outside hire shortly after that firm was formed by principals Suzan Bymel, Guymon Casady, Eric Kranzler, Evelyn O'Neill, Daniel Rappaport and David Seltzer.

"Doug has been a terrific colleague and we truly value the contribution he made to the company over the years," Management 360's partners said in a statement. "We wish him the best of luck and are excited to work with him in his new capacity."
