'Dream' cleared in 90% of country


Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios has cleared a two-hour Martin Luther King Jr. Day special in 90% of the country, including such TV stations as WNBC New York, KCAL Los Angeles and WCIU Chicago.

"We Have a Dream," intended to air on the Jan. 21 holiday, celebrates King and Black History Month by profiling successful blacks who have achieved the American dream and inspire others. The special features Denzel Washington, Sugar Ray Leonard, Maya Angelou, Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods, Sidney Poitier, Will Smith and Morgan Freeman, among others.
