The property is scheduled to open this summer.

Dream Hollywood is closer to being fully realized.

The new location from Dream Hotels, which operates upscale locations in New York, Miami and Thailand, is set to open this summer and new images (below) show what the lobby and guest rooms will look like. Dream Hotels has been working with architecture and design firm the Rockwell Group on the designs, said to pay homage to mid-century modern architecture unique to L.A., according to a release.

Dream Hollywood — part of the ongoing revitalization of Hollywood — features 179 guest rooms and suites, five dining and nightlife venues in or adjacent to the property, and a spacious 11,000 square foot rooftop.

“Since we first conceived the Dream Hotels brand, we worked to craft a sensory experience for guests. In this instance, we partnered with the widely recognized and award-winning Rockwell Group to create a lifestyle hotel with exceptional design and a stimulating and immersive environment," said Vikram Chatwal, vice chairman of Dream Hotel Group, adding that the project delivers "a never-before-seen" product.

The property is located in the heart of Hollywood on the corner of Selma Avenue and N. Cahuenga Boulevard at 6417 Selma Ave. Guest rooms will feature two color schemes. One is inspired by sky, water and white houses against a desert backdrop, while the other draws upon the warmer hues of a sunset. Other features include freestanding, patinated bronze shelving units that separate room areas and grand bathroom interiors and custom wall coverings showing the Los Angeles landscape, such as the freeway at night.

The hotel will feature visual connections between the indoors and outdoors courtesy of a multitude of large windows and such features as a public landscaped pedestrian alley and a garden path that will guide guests from the entrance to the check-in and concierge area.
