The Wearer: Fashion darling Dakota Fanning, who was styled by Samantha McMillen (one of The Hollywood Reporter's 25 Most Powerful Stylists).
The Event: The Effie Gray premiere in London on Oct. 5, which also was attended by co-star Tom Sturridge and Sienna Miller.
Why We Dig: What a way to pack a punch on the carpet — Fanning stood out in a scarlet fringe frock, which she paired with nude Valentino "Rockstud" pumps. Though the 20-year-old star once told THR, "one of the things I most hate in life is trying on clothes," we doubt she disliked putting on this runway trend-of-the-moment outfit, especially when she pulled it off with ease and elegance. To finish off the look, she had matching red lips.
