Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is bringing his brand of action and adventure stories to YouTube.

The Baywatch star announced Tuesday on Instagram that his Seven Bucks Productions, co-founded with Dany Garcia, is launching Seven Bucks Digital Studios in partnership with digital network Studio71 to bring motivational, entertaining and action-filled content to YouTube.

"Other than my family, social media is my strongest relationship and it's allowed me to connect on a very direct and personal level with fans globally," Johnson said, adding that "the launch of this channel and the collaboration with Studio71 only strengthens our ability to provide the greatest level of entertainment to our consumers on all media platforms."

Johnson's Instagram video summed things up a bit differently, captioned: "Here comes the best, biggest, badass, baldest YouTube channel ever! Ok, maybe not bald 'cause a bald YouTube channel is weird, but our Seven Bucks Digital Studios is shaping up to be awesome."

The YouTube channel will feature videos from Johnson himself as well as projects from digital talent and "action-filled" scripted series.

Added Studio71 president Dan Weinstein: "This partnership furthers our mission to work with the best creators to deliver premium content across all platforms, and we can't wait to launch a YouTube channel that reflects Johnson and everything he and Seven Bucks Productions stand for."

Johnson's new channel is launching as part of a slate of new programming from Studio71, announced Tuesday at the company's NewFronts presentation. Other projects include Text Committee from Matthew Espinosa and Good Mythical Crew, which goes behind the scenes of Rhett and Link's Good Mythical Morning
