Deal extends online library to more than 4,500 films

TORONTO -- Canadian producer E1 Entertainment has inked a deal to distribute its classic film and TV product through online film hub Jaman.

Toronto-based E1 said Wednesday that the supply deal will see Jaman acquire about 3,000 hours of movies and TV series in a deal that extends Jaman's online library to more than 4,500 films.

Included in the E1 lineup are classic French movies from Jacques Demy, Claude Chabrol and Jean-Luc Godard, indie films from Jessica Yu and Wayne Wang and TV episodes that feature Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, Laurel & Hardy and Lucille Ball, among others.

Jaman signed earlier supply deals with Paramount Pictures, Lionsgate, Eros International and Magnolia Pictures.

E1's content library includes about 3,700 feature films, 2,700 hours of original TV programming and 15,000 music tracks.
