E1 signs digital distribution deals
Will distribute, market for ITV and ContentFilmTORONTO -- E1 Entertainment has signed North American digital distribution deals with ITV Global Entertainment and ContentFilm.
E1 is to distribute around 185 hours of classic British TV series and miniseries for ITV across a range of digital platforms, while it markets around 100 hours of TV series, miniseries and films from ContentFilm via iTunes.
ITV titles that E1 will digitally deliver to the market include the Micahel Gambon-starrer “Maigret,” the PD James collection and the 1960s cult series “The Baron.”
ContentFilm product coming down E1’s digital pipe includes “Michael Moore Hates America,” “P.U.N.K.S.” and “Phantom of the Opera.”
E1, which is based in the Cayman Islands and will shortly move its domicile to Canada, earlier signed deals to handle product from Porchlight Entertainment and Peace Arch Home Entertainment as it looks to feed its North American distribution pipeline.
