Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Grouplove and Lykke Li Featured on Soundtrack to 'The Fault in Our Stars'

Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Grouplove, Ray LaMontagne and Lykke Li are among the artists who are contributing songs to the Atlantic Records release of The Fault in Our Stars – Music from the Motion Picture, based on the No. 1 best-selling novel by John Green.

The album arrives in stores and at all online retailers on May 19, while the film opens in theaters nationwide on June 6.

The soundtrack is now available for pre-order at iTunes, with instant grat downloads of Atlantic recording artist Birdy’s “Not About Angels,” premiering today on Vogue.com and Neon Gold/Atlantic pop diva Charlie XCX’s “Boom Clap,” which premiered on MTV.com and was heard during last night’s MTV Movie Awards pre-show.

The album gathers new material from some of the Atlantic Records Group’s most compelling artists, as well as a selection of songs from such rising stars as Ray LaMontagne, M83, Tom Odell, Kodaline and STRFKR, among others. Grammy Award-winning soundtrack producer Kevin Weaver [Boardwalk Empire, True Blood - Volumes 1 & 2] and music supervisor Season Kent [The Fighter, Entourage, Need for Speed] served as the soundtrack producers.

The Fault in Our Stars stars Shailene Woodley [Divergent] and Ansel Elgort as two extraordinary teenagers who meet and fall in love at a cancer support group, sharing an acerbic wit and a disdain for the conventional.The film is directed by Josh Boone, written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, produced by Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen and co-stars Laura Dern, Sam Tramell, Nat Wolff and Willem Dafoe.
