Edouard Baer in Cannes hosting role

Will again serve as master of ceremonies

PARIS -- French comedian Edouard Baer will take the reins once again as master of ceremonies at the 62nd annual Festival de Cannes, fest partner Canal Plus said Wednesday.

Baer, who also served as last year's host of the festival's opening and closing ceremonies, will head to the famous Palais des Festivals to welcome jury president actress Isabelle Huppert and her fellow jury members.

The Festival de Cannes runs May 13-24, and the opening and closing ceremonies will be broadcast exclusively on Canal Plus.
