EEAP, Palace Pictures ink output deal

Licenser-exhibitor pact includes Weinstein Co. films

COLOGNE, Germany -- Germany-based licenser EEAP has signed a three-year output deal with Palace Pictures, the distribution arm of Eastern European exhibitor giant Palace Cinemas.

The deal, which took effect Dec. 1, includes such titles as Stephen Daldry's "The Reader" and "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" from EEAP's deal with the Weinstein Co., as well as upcoming features including the Cormac McCarthy adaptation "The Road," sci-fi vampire film "Daybreakers" and James Gray's "Two Lovers," starring Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow.
