The actor, who portrays the president-elect on 'Saturday Night Live,' shared his disappointment on Twitter.

Alec Baldwin weighed in on Donald Trump's victory Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Baldwin shared his thoughts on his foundation's account, tweeting, "The billionaire Republican businessman is close to winning the race and world markets are crashing. He's all yours, America." He added that the meaning of the word "Christian" as it applies to politics has been "changed forever in this country."

Baldwin has portrayed Trump on Saturday Night Live leading up to the election.

This morning, he said he thinks people should focus on their families and loved ones as well as health, work and faith. "The American political system is broken," wrote Baldwin. "Walk away from it for a while."

In addition to his own disappointed sentiments, Baldwin retweeted a 9/11 World Trade Center /11/9 Trump meme and a statement about how America's first black president will be handing the White House over to a president endorsed by the KKK.
