Ellen DeGeneres Thanks Bill O'Reilly for Stand Against Conservative 'Witch Hunt' (Video)

The Ellen DeGeneres Show

The conservative commentator takes the openly gay talk show host's side against the One Million Moms who want her fired as JC Penney's spokeswoman.

In a surprising turn of events, Ellen DeGeneres thanked Fox News conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly for openly supporting her after a radical conservative group tried to have her fired as a JC Penney's spokeswoman because she is a lesbian.

In a segment on his The O'Reilly Factor Monday, O'Reilly called the One Million Moms protest a "witch hunt," and said it was not in "the spirit of America." O'Reilly also invited a representative from One Million Moms to debate the issue on his show, "But, apparently all the one million moms are busy," he joked.

To thank him, DeGeneres played a clip on her show yesterday from The O'Reilly Factor and offered to share her JC Penney discount with O'Reilly.

"There's somebody else who actually defended me that I'd like to mention: Bill O'Reilly from Fox News," DeGeneres said. "I already sent you out a tweet to thank you … you didn't really make it clear if you were going to shop at JC Penney or not, but if you do, you can use my employee discount any time you want. That's for you Bill. Thank you so much."
