Ellen DeGeneres Pays Tribute to Carrie Fisher
"She was smart, she was funny, she was hilariously honest about herself and the world around her."
Ellen DeGeneres took some time at the end of her Wednesday show to pay tribute to Carrie Fisher.
"I knew her for a long time. She has been on the show many times, and the last time was just a month ago," said DeGeneres. "I loved when she was here. She made me laugh so hard. She was smart, she was funny, she was hilariously honest about herself and the world around her."
DeGeneres then played a series of clips of Fisher's visits to her show. In the clips, Fisher gives funny advice to her 30-year-old self at the request of a fan and also takes to the streets with DeGeneres in matching Princess Leia hairdos.
"I miss you, Carrie," DeGeneres said at the close of the show. "I love you."
