Emma Roberts and Priyanka Bose Say Yes to Green Dress
James Cameron's wife, Suzy Amis Cameron, leads the eco-friendly charge.
The eco-friendly campaign Red Carpet Green Dress has booked Emma Roberts and Priyanka Bose for its eco-friendly campaign that will see the two actresses wear ethical gowns paired with exclusive pieces from Atelier Swarovski’s first fine jewelry collection, which will launch at the 89th Academy Awards on Feb. 26.
Founded by Suzy Amis Cameron, actress, environmental advocate, educator and wife of filmmaker James Cameron, RCGD works with designers every year to dress stars in ethical evening wear and jewelry for the Oscars. The campaign will celebrate another year of eco-friendly efforts at an exclusive Oscar-week event scheduled for Feb. 23 at a private residence.
“It is so exciting to be partnering with Atelier Swarovski for our Red Carpet Green Dress campaign this year and have such strong women like Emma Roberts and Priyanka Bose stand behind us,” said Amis Cameron in a statement. “We have the scope for massive global impact and together can help spread the important message of sustainability. Furthermore, we aim to stir conversation and encourage those we reach to join the movement."
Roberts is a star of the big and small screens with such notable credits as Palo Alto, We're the Millers, Billionaire Boys Club and, of course, the juicy Scream Queens. Bose stars opposite Dev Patel in The Weinstein Co.'s Lion, currently nominated for six Oscars, including the coveted best picture prize.
Since its inception in 2009, RCGD sustainable designs have been worn by Naomie Harris (nominated for an Oscar this year for Moonlight), Kellan Lutz, Jake McDorman, Missi Pyle, Gina Rodriguez and Sophie Turner.
