Emma Stone Is Twinning With Her Oscar Statuette in Givenchy Haute Couture
Stone won the best actress award for her role in 'La La Land.'
Emma Stone stepped out in a gold, Swarovski crystal-embroidered gown at the 2017 Oscars on Sunday.
Styled by Petra Flannery, the actress wore a Givenchy Haute Couture gown, designed by Riccardo Tisci, who departed the French fashion house this month after 12 years. The dress features gold and bronze Swarovski crystals embroidery, and cream-to-bronze dégradé crystal fringes. The look is paired with bronze satin sandals and a bronze metal clutch.
Stone won the award for best actress for her work in La La Land. She was up against fellow nominees Isabelle Huppert (Elle), Ruth Negga (Loving), Natalie Portman (Jackie) and Meryl Streep (Florence Foster Jenkins).
Fun fact: Stone is the first lead actress to win an Oscar in Givenchy since Audrey Hepburn, who wore the luxury label in 1954 when she took home the gold for her role in Roman Holiday.
The 89th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, airs live on ABC at 5:30 p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. ET.
