Emma Watson, Elle Fanning Rave About Their Calvin Klein Frocks at the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards (Video)

Creative director Francisco Costa hosted a large table of beautiful young actresses wearing his latest designs at the annual event held at the Four Seasons Monday, Oct 15.

Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa -- one of the major sponsors of last night’s Elle Women in Hollywood event -- ventured out on the red carpet to chat with one of the night's honorees, Elle Fanning, who was wearing one of his designs.

“She is a natural Calvin Klein model and it makes my job very easy,” Costa told The Hollywood Reporter. Fanning, who stars in Sally Potter's new film, Ginger & Rosa, returned the praise. “I love this dress, it’s great, and it's not all black, it has sheerness and white.”

Calvin Klein also dressed several of the award winners, presenters and guests, including Perks of Being a Wallflower star Emma Watson, Jaime King, Susan Sarandon, Uma Thurman, Rashida Jones and Judd Apatow’s funny and beautiful actress wife, Leslie Mann.

Honoree Sarandon personally thanked Costa for her black power suit onstage. New mom Thurman raved about her custom made Calvin Klein black skirt suit. “It’s a variation of one of their runway creations and they made it for me. I’m not a sample size and happy not to be.”

Bridesmaids star Kristin Wiig wore an emerald green Calvin Klein dress with a cutout back that revealed a delicate tattoo at the base of her spine. Accepting her award onstage, Wiig smoothed her dress, sighed and admitted to the audience: "I haven’t pooped in four days. I’m serious. I’ve been traveling and I’m nervous about tonight. I’m wearing this tight dress and it’s uncomfortable. I’m getting concerned. I’ll take something tonight, I promise.”

On working with her stylist, she explains, “It's become imperative, it’s a big job and it’s nice to have help. Her name is Sarahjane Hoare and she’s worked at Vanity Fair and Vogue and she really gets me. It’s very much a collaboration, which is nice."

Red carpet style icon Cate Blanchett broke from the fashion pack and chose a Proenza Schouler Spring 2013 dress, the first from the show to be worn on a red carpet, with Roger Vivier shoes and clutch, with Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. Mad Men’s young star Kiernan Shipka is stylist free and personally picked out her Moschino outfit. "When I tried this one on, I knew it was the right one. I like the shape. I love the peplum and the Peter Pan collar. It's very me."

American Horror Story star Sarah Paulsen was pretty in a sheer pale Rochas dress. Of her stylist Petra Flannery, she raved: “She’s the greatest. She knows my style really well. At first she was putting me in slinky things, and I told her that I like flirty romantic ethereal. Now that’s all she brings me and I’m like, can’t I get something slinky once in a while?”

Newcomer on The Walking Dead Danai Gurira wore a stunning white knit dress by Mike Ovitz's designing daughter Kimberly Ovitz. “I chose it through a process of elimination. It’s all about how you feel when you put it on. Do you feel great in it? That's how I deduce it."
