The "Mike & Molly" star found out she earned a nom for Best Actress -- while reading off the nominees.

Mike & Molly star Melissa McCarthy struggled to keep her composure at the Emmy nominations announcement Thursday after finding out that she had nabbed one herself for ousting lead actress in a comedy series.

"Ohh!" she said excitedly as Fringe's Joshua Jackson read out her name and the auditorium applauded.

"Keep it together!" she told herself out loud as Jackson paused for a moment to give her props and then went on to read her competition: Laura Linney in The Big C, Edie Falco in Nurse Jackie, Amy Poehler in Parks and Recreation, Martha Plimpton in Raising Hope and Tina Fey in 30 Rock.

After reading the final category, Television Academy chairman and CEO John Shaffner said that they'd been eager to tell her and that the "academy congratulates" her.

“I’m still trying to find the words to describe how I feel right,” McCarthy told The Hollywood Reporter just moments after she read her own name as a nominee for best lead actress in a comedy. “I mean, look at the the other people in the category. You look up to them, you love their work- to put yourself with them? I mean, I think I’m doing an ok job, but you can’t imagine being in a group with them. I can’t find a place in my head for all of this just yet.”
