Where: Spago, 176 North Canon Dr. Beverly Hills
Slated to attend: Invites go out to nominees across the spectrum, not just NBC’s. This will be the first time new chairman Bob Greenblatt hosts the affair.
Other: This is the 8th year NBC has taken over Spago for its Emmy-eve party. The network says the affair is “casual” and done without a red carpet. It’s a schmooze party, not a dance party.

Event: Showtime
When: Saturday, Sept. 17th
Where: The Skybar, 8440 West Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood
Slated to attend: Edie Falco, Laura Linney, Michael C. Hall, Joan Cusack and Julia Stiles will be among those hosted by chairman Matt Blank.

Slated to attend: Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert lead the list. The cabler says it invites “the comedy community” as well as its own talent.
Other: The big question is: will Charlie Sheen attend? (He rsvp’d.) His roast airs the next day. Party has a DJ; the décor will be sleek and modern (in keeping with Comedy Central’s new logo.) Organizers say they want to keep atmosphere “laid back” and create a “safe haven.”
Event: AMC
When: Immediately after the telecast
Where: Mr. C, 1224 Beverwil Dr., Los Angeles
Slated to attend: Cast of Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Killing among others.
Other: The doors open after the telecast, but it should go late. This is the kind of party way on the other side of town guests arrive at after other stops. Network head Charlie Collier hosts.
Event: HBO
When: Immediately after the telecast
Where: Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood
Slated to attend: Steve Buscemi, Kate Winslet, Peter Dinklage and Diane Lane lead the list of the cabler’s guests. Party goes late and has attendees from other events arriving late.
Other: This is the 9th consecutive year HBO has used the Pacific Design Center. Once again Billy Butchkavitz does the design, which is usually wildly vibrant. Wolfgang Puck does the catering. People actually dance.
Event: Entertainment Tonight
When: 8 pm
Where: Vibiana, 214 So. Main St., Los Angeles
Slated to attend: Invites go out to all the nominees. Exec producer Linda Bell Blue hosts.
Other: ET goes lavish when it throws a party. They say the event will be “inspired” by California’s regional street art and cuisine. Evening’s highlight is a performance by Stevie Nicks.
Event: Governors Ball
When: Immediately after the telecast
Where:  West Hall of the L.A. Convention Center
1201 South Figueroa St, Los Angeles
Slated to attend: 3,500 attendees from the telecast are invited
Other: Sequoia Productions is doing the décor in a ’60s Mod theme. Patina does the filet mignon dinner. Not exactly an intimate affair – the room is significantly larger than a football field.
