Composer Alan Menken, nominated for his work on ABC's 'Galavant,' could become the 13th member to join the club of Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony winners.

Composer Alan Menken is the only 2016 nominee poised to become the 13th member of the esteemed club (those who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) on Sept. 18, should he win for his second-ever Emmy nomination, in the original music and lyrics category for songs he wrote for ABC's Galavant.

He's in great company, with the likes of Lily Tomlin, Maggie Smith, Audra McDonald and Ellen Burstyn all short just one award to claim EGOT status. Overall most likely to EGOT (one day): Beyonce Knowles. With 20 Grammys to her name and two Emmy noms this year (she also was nominated in 2013 and 2015), Queen Bey could be on track to join the exclusive ranks of such current multihyphenate EGOTs as Rita Moreno, Mel Brooks and Whoopi Goldberg.
