Get glowing before Monday night's awards show

When New York's top dermatologist Dr. David Colbert, who has worked with Naomi Watts and Rachel Weisz, does his pop-up clinics around awards season, it's a very hot ticket. And just in time for Emmys weekend, he'll be hosting his temporary beauty shop at 9400 Brighton Way, in the Penthouse Suite in Beverly Hills.

Treatments will include Colbert's specialties, such as the Triad facial, his signature red-carpet treatment that features a three-step no-downtime procedure that includes microdermabrasion for exfoliation, laser toning for boosting collagen and an application of lavender flower acid for instant glow. Certainly necessary for anyone facing a camera or lots of flashing lights.

Colbert also will be doing injectable fillers, so every face is camera-ready; with social media upping the ante, that's always a good idea these days. And to maintain the glow, Colbert's signature products — Illumino Facial Oil, Illumino Body Oil, Stimulate Serum and Heal and Soothe — are perfect for helping you look refreshed throughout the weekend.

Luckily, you can still make an appointment with the man who's made some of the most famous and beautiful faces even more beautiful. The pop-up will be held Friday, Aug. 22, and Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Monday, Aug. 25, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. To schedule a time, call 310-859-9816.
